Backline Studio provides an AI phone receptionist that answers calls on behalf of trades and home-services businesses, captures caller details, and delivers them to the business as a lead. The receptionist takes messages only — it does not quote prices, book appointments, or provide professional advice.

The service is intended for businesses and for individuals who are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

You agree to use the service lawfully and only for legitimate business communications, to obtain any consents required for calls and messages handled on your behalf, and not to use the service to send unlawful, harassing, or unsolicited content. You are responsible for following up with the leads we deliver.

If you opt in to text messages from Backline Studio, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting in to messages is not a condition of purchase.

Paid service is billed at the rate presented to you at sign-up (currently $500 per month), with no setup fee. Subscriptions are month-to-month and you may cancel any time by emailing us; the first 30 days are refundable. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

We work to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or any particular business outcome, such as a specific number of leads or conversions. The service depends on third-party telephony, messaging, and AI providers.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backline Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required to protect the service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Backline Studio is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
